A Little Piece of Heaven...

One of my biggest interests in life is cooking and eating good food. This is seriously the best cake I've ever had, it's called Tuxedo Cake and has two heavenly layers of chocolate and white chocolate mouse with a dark chocolate coating on top. The first time I bought it the Bakery lady told me I'd be back for more. Boy, was she right... Now it's my favorite desert! This cake is worth every cent of the $7.00 they charge for a 4 x 4 inch square of delectable goodness. It's the best... I think I'm in love.

I'm not a slacker...

I've just been ignoring this blog cause I've been busy posting family pics on the other blog. But I'm finally done, Wooo-hooo! Now I'm taking a few days off cause between my job and posting pics to Rob and Netters I spent A LOT of time on the computer last week. So until creativity strikes... I'm taking a break!

I'm still catching up...

I'm still catching up from being gone for so long over Christmas (and then being computerless for a week and a half after I got back, yikes!). I promise I'll post something other than words on here eventually, there's just been a lot of "Rob and Lanette" stuff going on and not much stuff about Just Netters :) In the meantime I'm trying to catch up on posting Arizona pics on our shared blog. Then I'll start in on the pics from my visit with Jason and Shawna (from Sunday, which I have to tell you, Talan is such a cutie!!). So until then... see ya later!

Perfect Sunday...

Today was a good day. It was positively gorgeous out and I loved every minute of it. The sun puts me in such a great mood. I slept in for once, did laundry and some things around the house, ran a few errands. I felt productive but not rushed. I spent the last hour and a half of my day soaking up the sun in a quiet corner at Barnes & Noble looking for some new books to buy. I didn't have a care in the world. It was peaceful, it was relaxing, it was perfect. I wish every day was this easy!

A New Year, A New Me...

I've come to the realization that a lot of the stuff I post on my blog with Rob really isn't about Rob and Netters... it's just about Netters! So I decided to keep two blogs, one for Rob and I together (and later it will become our family blog) and one just for me. Call me selfish but I need a blog for things that have nothing to do with Rob--one for my thoughts and creative stuff (like pics of periwinkle doors and making breadcrumbs)--and Rob fully agrees. So this is the start of it. A new year, a new me. Welcome to Just Netters!
