They say you only need an extra 300 calories a day during pregnancy. But you're also supposed to gain one pound a week the last 20 weeks. One pound=3500 calories3500 calories divided by 7 (days in the week) = 500 So you REALLY need an extra 500 calories a day. Good. Now I don't feel so bad about all the mint chocolate oreos I've been eating lately...
When you try getting filtered fridge water out of the light switch in the pantry. The funny thing is this is the second time I've done this... Oops.
I SWEAR I'm carrying Jackie Chan's baby. This kid is constantly on the move!
One thing that sucks about being pregnant is you can't have sushi. I especially love Sashimi. It's soooo fresh and healthy. Lately I've been craving all things sushi. Like yellow fin tuna. And Unagi. And spicy tempura tuna & salmon rolls! Thank goodness this place by my house has yummy shrimp summer rolls (and yes, pregos can have the occasional shrimp!). These are a far cry from the real deal but will have to do. For now at least.

I don't know about you but I love Sundays. I think they're my favorite day of the week. Yesterday we slept in then made homemade waffles with fresh strawberries and whip cream for breakfast. And OJ and this great applewood smoked bacon. We sat around in our cozy PJ's all afternoon. Watched football and golf and looked online at baby furniture. We didn't leave the house all day... Sometimes you just need a day like that. Hope you had a nice Sunday too.
I shot pics of these sweet girls while we were in Arizona. After their family session we took a bunch of head shots. The lighting that morning was actually (horribly!) bright but we still got some great ones! These girls are so cute and photogenic. I love them to pieces! I had to split Talan's birthday into two posts because the cake smash was just too funny. I've never seen a kid covered in so much frosting before! It was stuck to his eyelashes, up his nose, everywhere! He really went to town with his first birthday cake, I'd definitely say it was a success. Happy First Birthday Talan!
