I've secretly been loving Kendall's shadow for the last several months. Often when we're walking hand in hand I wish I could stop what we're doing, grab my camera and catch our shadows together as mommy and daughter. But I usually don't... The shadows are so sweet. I want to bottle them up and keep them forever because she's just so small, and growing so fast... Everyone tells you your babies are only little for so long... Boy, are they right.

Self Portrait...
I'm glad I have a wide angle lens. I honestly don't use it a ton--mainly just for location overview shots and self portraits--but it's a good thing to have in your bag. These were taken one night while I was editing. Kendall crawled up to sit with me and fell asleep. There's some distortion going on but that's OK. I'd rather have the memory than perfection... Besides, how else am I supposed to get in the pics? ;)

Silhouette...
I just love silhouette shots. This pic was taken at dusk in Loreto, Mexico. For more pictures and the full story on my trip go HERE.

Quiet...
I like "quiet" photos. Like this one of my daughter taken recently under sunnier skies... Oh, how is she so big already?

Piano...
I love piano solo music. Sometimes I listen to it when I drive. I find it very soothing and relaxing, each note sounds so full and golden. Someday, I will learn how to play... One photography tip I always keep in mind is getting on the same level as your subject. It completely changes your perspective and brings the image to life. Like this pic of my niece playing piano.
