And These Are a Few of My Favorite Things...

With the New Year almost upon us I thought it appropriate to close out the holiday season with a look at some of my favorite things...

Trimming the tree with the hubby...

Cute dogs napping in Santa hats...

Bight paper packages wrapped under the tree...

Christmas cards arriving daily...

(Ya'll know you're on my fridge, right?)

Cinnamon scented pine cones...
Wish you could smell these...

Festive holiday socks...

Anything silver and shiny...
I added these to my collection this year...

Anything Snowman...

Stockings hung by the chimney with care...
Next year, you will see, there will be one more there...

And taking it all in...

I hope you enjoyed the holidays as much as I did this year.
Wishing you much love, happiness, peace and prosperity in 2010.

They were right...

I didn't think prego brain really existed. I thought it was just an excuse pregnant people used to cover up their forgetfulness. But now I know it's real. I left my beloved camera at a friends for almost a week. I left my cell phone at my parents on Christmas (still haven't gotten it back yet, sorry if you're trying to get a hold of me). And I keep forgetting where I parked my car. At the grocery store. And everywhere else... So... I think they were right. Hello Progesterone!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas to me means spending time with the people you love most. Eating good food. Keeping holiday traditions. And making memories. I painted this ornament for Rob at my parents kitchen table for one of our first Christmas's together. And while my painting skills resemble that of a 7 year olds, it's fun to rediscover little treasures like these during the holidays. I hope your Christmas was one you will treasure and remember for years to come. Merry Christmas Everyone :)

Babies... {Lincoln John}

Here's some more of my favorite shots from my afternoon with Lincoln, Krista and Josh. Lincoln is such a cute little guy! He has the biggest big blue eyes and he's always checking everything out. I'd only met Lincoln once earlier this year when he was a tiny little baby. It's amazing to see how big and full of life he is now. K&J-Thanks for letting me take pics of your little guy (PS All images are low resolution but to see a larger version double click the pic, then hit your back browser to get back to the post.)

Expecting... {Jevyn & Matt}

Meet Jevyn and Matt, a super sweet couple I photographed from South Seattle. They were so happy about expecting their first child, a baby boy! Jevyn was already full term in these pics, can you believe it? She looks great! There was this quiet, reassuring peace about them during our time together. You could really tell how much they love eachother and how in love they already were with their baby. It was so sweet! (All images are low-resolution but left click the image twice to see it in a larger size then hit the back button on your browser to return to the post.)

Jabba the Hutt...

Whoever said you only need to eat an extra 300 calories/day during pregnancy has obviously never been pregnant. I think I'm carrying Jabba the Hutt. I'm SO hungry... All. Day. Long!!

Families...{Josh, Krista & Lincoln}

I've known of this cute family from Issaquah for a couple years now. They're close friends of my dear friend, Shannon. I met with Krista and Josh last weekend to get pics of them and their adorable little guy, Lincoln John. And let me tell you, Lincoln John is a mover and a shaker! He's already walking and he's only 9 months. AND he knows sign language, talk about a little genius, Wow! Krista and Josh, enjoy your sneak peak. Note: These are low resolution images so double click on the image to make it clear and large, then hit the back button on your web browser to return to the post. It was fun seeing you guys!

Families...{Dave, Amber, Brooke & Jacqueline}

While I was in Arizona I did a special session for this photogenic family. But they're not just any family, they also happen to be part of My family--my brother and sister in law and two favorite neices! We had fun doing a shoot near Rob's parent's house, aren't they adorable? I have shots of just the girls too but I'll have to post those after I get caught up with some of my other projects. As usual all pics are low resolution. Double click the image to make it clearer/larger.
