One thing they don't tell you...

About being 38 weeks pregnant is that it's dang near impossible to tie your own shoes. I've actually walked the dogs in my slippers the last few days because it's easier. Rob helps me with my socks and shoes when he's home but most days I'm on my own. And it totally sucks!

Diaper Cake...

OK, so as you may know my baby shower was on Sunday. And it was soooo AWESOME, I really couldn't have asked for a better shower. One of the coolest things there was the "Diaper Cake" my friend Tierra and her sister made for our baby girl. It was made entirely from diapers and little gifts for Baby K. I just couldn't get over how cool this thing looked! We keep telling Tierra she needs to open an Etsy store and start selling these online! Thanks for my beautiful diaper cake ladies, I loved it!! :)

For Baby M...

Today is my shower for Baby M and I'm really looking forward to it! I'm so excited to see everyone and catch up (cause let's face it, as a prego you get a little out of the loop!) Rob and I wondered for a moment why it was called a shower, because it's not like it rains on the baby? But then we realized it's because you shower baby-to-be with love and gifts from family and friends. I wonder when they started calling them that?

Speaking of Love, I found this cute bench at Michael's Arts & Crafts store. It will go good with the cream, chocolate brown and sage green nursery theme. Her little pink friend was from Uncle Dan. Even though her room will be neutral colored this girl will definitely be pretty in pink! I hope she's a girly girl like me, but if not, that's OK too :)

Expecting... {Jevyn & Matt}

Meet Jevyn and Matt, a super sweet couple I photographed from South Seattle. They were so happy about expecting their first child, a baby boy! Jevyn was already full term in these pics, can you believe it? She looks great! There was this quiet, reassuring peace about them during our time together. You could really tell how much they love eachother and how in love they already were with their baby. It was so sweet! Jabba the Hutt...

Whoever said you only need to eat an extra 300 calories/day during pregnancy has obviously never been pregnant. I think I'm carrying Jabba the Hutt. I'm SO hungry... All. Day. Long!!

Things that go Bump...

This weekend I did a bump shoot with a sweet couple from the Renton area. It was a lot of fun! Once I get caught up with editing I'll be posting pics of mommy, daddy and belly...
