Last Saturday Rob was golfing in Olympia so I had the whole day to myself. I ran errands, met my mom for lunch/window shopping then headed to the Mukilteo waterfront for pics. I almost missed the sunset but luckily arrived just as dusk was falling. It was so peaceful being there, just me, the quiet water lapping against the rocks and the diminishing sun. I loved it.

Sorry, it's been a really long week with work plus I've been sick all week so posting is taking the backburner right now. I just posted Chelan pics to my shared blog, www.robandnetters.blogspot.com if you want to check those out. It was my first time using and making picture collages. I think they turned out pretty cool! The collage function is a good tool for posting multiple pics easily. And you can click on the collage to make the pics bigger. Anyway, I've got some stuff to post on here this weekend so I'll get something up soon. But until then, Thank God It's Friday! Seriously.

Maybe it was just wishful thinking on my part or because it's been sooooo gorgeous out the last few days. But whatever the reason I decided to wash all my scarves Saturday and put them away till next winter. Now it's raining again and I'm cold. Rats. But I think rain represents the beginning of Spring so maybe that's a good thing?

Which is why he's been curled up in a ball, sulking on the couch for a good part of the morning. We awoke to the sight of him straddling our couch and coffee table while devouring the stick of butter in the butter dish that was accidentally left out from the night before. And he wonders why his stomache hurts....

I have the best intentions when it comes to picking out cards and sending gifts (like these V-Day goody bags for my neices in Texas). But I'm terrible about mailing them! I'd been stockpiling their treats for a few weeks and before I knew it Valentine's Day was almost here. I headed to the post office but as usual I'd waited too long to mail them. Now the goody bags are arriving late! Shoot... It was my New Year's resolution to mail things on time this year... Looks like I'm off to a rocky start!
I realize flowers aren't that exciting but I love having them in the house. And how bright and cheery they are, they put me in a good mood every time I see them. Rob brought these home Saturday and I wanted a pic before they wilted away (cause we all know flowers have a short shelf life!)

Last week it snowed again. Not enough to cause any problems and it never stuck to the streets but an inch or two accumulated throughout the day. Yogi and Parker had fun playing in it. Parker looks like such a Ragamuffin here... (Someone Reeeally needs a haircut!)

Represents the US's most eccentric weather forecasting system. But it's also my birthday! Yes, I share my birthday with a furry rodent named Phil. So Happy Birthday to me today! (And in case you were wondering, Phil saw his shadow so that's six more weeks of winter for the rest of us!)
I got these shoes a few weeks ago and I love them. Maybe it's because they're pink. Or because I'm lazy and adore anything I don't have to tie. Or maybe it's because I got them for a total steal AND they make my feet look tiny. But whatever the reason, they make me feel happy every time I put them on.
