Lunchbreak...

I work full time and eat leftovers at lunch most days. But sometimes I go out and it's a nice break. It sucks when the server nonchalantly asks if you want something, making you think it's included with your meal, only to find out that it's not. I'm not naming any names or anything :) but the extra $1.30 it cost me for your zesty cheese sauce left me and my burrito feeling slightly annoyed. And it wasn't even good cheese sauce, Boo.

A Good Day...

Today we went HERE... I would have taken pics but cameras aren't allowed. So instead you get a pic of my ticket. As we're waiting in event traffic to exit the freeway. 30,000 fans. One Silver Fox. And good friends. It was a fun day, I'm glad we went.

Just as a watched phone never rings, A watched mailbox never fills... I've been waiting for an online purchase to arrive for days now. And I'm getting tired of checking my empty mailbox! Boo on Mr. Postman...

Wishful Thinking...

Wish I had a green thumb. Because if I did, I'd grow big, pink puffy dahlias like these. But I'm no gardener. I hate weeding and my plants never last more than two weeks. So instead I admire my neighbors flowers. Every day. While I walk the dogs. And wish to myself that I had a pretty yard filled with flowers too. Maybe next year...

OK, let me rephrase that...

I love Hot weather when it's hot Outside. Not when it's 93.2 degrees inside my upstairs office where I do all my blogging. It's days like this when it really pays to have air conditioning...

Seattle Scorcher...

OK. It's Freaking H-O-T out. Has been for the last few days. And it's supposed to last till late this weekend. But I secretly love it. That's why I think I'm destined to live somewhere sunny year round. Like Vegas or Phoenix... Hope you have a fan... It's supposed to be 100 tomorrow!!
