Still Making Excuses...

Yep, I know. I'm still making excuses for my lack of blogging these days. I barely made a dent in the hoards of photos piling up on my memory cards before we left for Dallas. But the good news is after a long week in the HOT Texas sun, we're back. I will try to post some stuff this weekend. Trust me, it's not going to happen before that--too much going on with work this week. But eventually I will post something. Pinky swear. (And then maybe I can stop publicly whining about what a pathetic blogger I am.)

Meet Rowan Anthony...

I don't know what it is but all of our friends are having THE cutest babies lately! Meet Rowan Anthony. He's the new baby boy of our friends Ryan and Niki. A few weeks ago we spent the day with Ryan and Niki at their family beach house on Whidbey Island. Rowan's about 3 months old in these pics and he's such a cute little guy! He was very sweet and well mannered the whole time we were there--hardly cried at all and was just content to sit and watch or be held. He was such a good baby. It was nice meeting you Rowan!

So I Lied...

I said I was going to get caught up with my all of my posting & pics but I totally haven't. Oops. My bad. We've just been super busy with work, friends and family lately. I had to cut out blogging to simplify life since things were getting awfully hectic. My brother Chad was back in town (yes, again! 2nd time since May!). And I wanted to spend as much time with him as possible since he's my favorite brother. But he left yesterday, Wah. I've also had several work projects going on but they're over now. Finally. I have tons of pics from the last few weeks. Leavenworth. Folklife. Whidbey Island. Ellensburg. Babies. Friends... So stick with me people. I promise I'll get out of this rut soon.

Best June Ever...

Me and "the boys" are loving every second of the sunny weather we're having. I keep finding Yogi in the yard catching some rays, it's so cute. Sun Gods, if you're listening--Please, please, please stay this way for the next three months!

Shannon's Birthday...

OK, I'm back. Things have been super busy lately so I'm really behind in posting! These pics are from my friend Shannon's birthday a few weekends ago. It was fun getting together with my two best friends from college, their husbands and a few of their close friends. One guest in particular raised a lot of interest--10 & 1/2 week old Lincoln! He's Josh and Krista's baby (Shannon & Phil's good friends--we've met them several times throughout the years so we were really happy to meet their little guy). Everyone was cooing over how adorable and sweet Lincoln was. It was fun seeing everyone and I know Shannon had a great day! (PS, to enlarge the images just double click on it)
