Has been keeping me pretty busy lately.
It's amazing how much she's grown and changed over the last five months. I just love her to pieces :)
Getting Thai in Edmonds...
You have time to kick up your feet and relax... :)
I'm a Canon Girl. And I've been meaning to get rid of this lens for a while now cause I've kind of outgrown it. So if you're looking for a good all purpose zoom lens (18-200mm, f/3.5-5.6) in very good condition, please email me.
A little bit crazy and like I just rolled out of bed... How's your Monday?
Editing a wedding that I second shot at a few weekends ago. I think this is my favorite image so far. Yes, it's dark and vintage-y. And they look grumpy. And are staring straightforward just like in old time photos. But I love how this one turned out. More coming soon.
And cute as a button...
Wonder what she's dreaming about...
We had dinner on the beach the other night. Baby in the car seat on the pic-nic table. After work. Pizza. To-go. And right as the sun was setting an old man and his son appeared, chatting like old friends and throwing rocks. Their silhouettes were striking.
Because we can all use a little peace and quiet in our lives...
When I was little my mom would make stuffed green peppers. Probably the same way every mom in America made them--with rice, ground beef, onions and ketchup. And they were good. But a little plain. So. I've kinda kicked them up a notch. Crumbled sweet Italian sausage, rice, mushrooms, stewed tomatoes, lots of garlic, cumin, smoked paprika and brown, bubbly Monterey Jack cheese. The perfect comfort food for the streak of cold rainy weather we're having lately. Oh yeah, and don't forget to pass the sour cream.
Shot a wedding in Olympia this weekend. And it rained almost the entire time. But it didn't matter. Cause this couple made their own sunshine. And it was beautiful. More to come sometime soon.
I've had a thing for Skittles lately. Although I shouldn't say "lately" because really, I've had a thing for them since junior high. They've been sneaking into my shopping cart again, don't know how that happens. I like the red and yellow ones best. Do you have a fave?
Our friend Dan has a great recipe for oysters. Something involving soy sauce, freshly squeezed lemons and melted pepperjack. Sounds weird, I know. But they're soooo good. Rob and I made them the other night and they were awesome. I'm so glad I eat seafood.
Are always better when shared with someone you love...

Today we went HERE... I would have taken pics but cameras aren't allowed. So instead you get a pic of my ticket. As we're waiting in event traffic to exit the freeway. 30,000 fans. One Silver Fox. And good friends. It was a fun day, I'm glad we went.
I realize I've been an infrequent blogger since Kendall arrived. And I don't know about you but I've really missed posting things these last few months! LOL So...I've decided I'm going to try uploading just one photo every other day... I can at least manage that can't I? So here's to new habits. Wish me luck!

My brother and his wife have been like free spirits the last 2 & 1/2 years. Little vagabond gypsies... Hippies really. They quit their jobs, sold their house and travelled. For two and a half years. Yes, Crazy. Yes, Lucky. I know. But what THEY don't know is how much we've missed them. And I'm SO happy to report that my DEAR brother Chad is on a plane AS WE SPEAK from Buenos Aires to American soil. Their trip is done, el finite', Finally! And I couldn't be happier. Both to see him and also because I can finally stop worrying about him dead in a ditch somewhere. Not joking. So Welcome Back Brother, it'll be good to have you home!

Chad, at Machu Pichu
I've seen lots of blogs using photo collages these days and now I know why. You can show way more pics with way less uploading! And it's perfect for a sequence of images with a bunch of "keepers" that tell a story. Here's Kendall doing tummy time at 11.5 weeks. Love this little Bean. You can make the collage bigger by LEFT clicking it Once, then LEFT clicking it AGAIN to enlarge it. When we brought Yogi home from the shelter almost 6 years ago he had the sweetest, softest, velvety, light pink nose. It was so cute, I loved it. But these last two years it's slowly turned brown. He's getting age spots too. (He IS eight after all). Poor Yogs. Just goes to show you no one's exempt from aging... :(
I recently took pics of this fun, beautiful family from the Renton area. Mom & Dad (Eva & Ron), daughters Tionna & Tamearra, Tamearra's fiance Sharief and their adorable baby Cayne. This shoot was easy-breezy even though it was the morning of the I-405 closure and during our super summer heat wave. But despite the bright light we were able to find a small park nearby with green grass and some cool shade to work in. It was great meeting everyone! Here are some of my favorites from your shoot.
As usual all images are low resolution and for viewing purposes only. To make the picture larger left click the image Once, then click Again to enlarge. Hit the back button on your browser to return to the post.
