Union, WA...

A few weeks ago we were in Union, WA checking out our friends wedding site at a private home overlooking the peaceful Hood Canal. The house has a 180 degree view of the Canal and has such a relaxed feel to it that you seriously de-stress the minute you walk in the door. It's full of windows and light and has the cutest beach decorations everywhere. (And their pets are the sweetest things ever. One of the dogs was even named "Sweetie..." I wanted to take her home with me!) Everyone agreed it's the perfect place for an intimate ceremony.

Kids... {Gracie}

Recently my friend Tierra and I tried to do a mini photo session with her (adorable!) daughter Gracie. Let me tell you, this girl is on the move! I think I got more pics of her walking away from me than anything else but luckily I got some good headshots too. Gracie is so cute and always so much fun to be around. Love this girl.

Wishful Thinking...

Wish I had a green thumb. Because if I did, I'd grow big, pink puffy dahlias like these. But I'm no gardener. I hate weeding and my plants never last more than two weeks. So instead I admire my neighbors flowers. Every day. While I walk the dogs. And wish to myself that I had a pretty yard filled with flowers too. Maybe next year...

Old Friends...

I was in college when I met Tammi and Shannon. And although we don't see eachother often (sometimes only a few times a year!) it's always nice when we do. This picture is actually from this summer but it's the most recent one I have. Last night the three of us met up for dinner. And over a good meal we caught up on everything going on in eachother's lives. As I drove home last night I found myself thinking that I'm so thankful for the friendship of these two wonderful people. Thankful they're still in my life after all of these years. And how it's nice to know people who've known you from the start. Friends who are there through thick and thin, who share in life's ups and downs and everything in between. I am lucky to call you my friends. Let's get together again soon, ladies, I love you!

Hooked...

Swedish Fish... I used to eat these all the time when I was little. They cost a penny each at Ostrom's Drug Store in Kenmore. I'd get a 100 at a time and be on a permanent sugar high for days. I'd totally forgotten about them until a few weeks ago... And I've been eating them non-stop ever since! They're chewy and gooey and taste like a mix of cherry and apple. They're sooooo good.

Apparently I'm a chrome girl...

I've always liked shiny things... Like diamonds! And new coins. Silver jewelry. Stainless steel kitchen appliances. But I've discovered a recent affinity for shiny cars and motorcyles too. I'm sooooo not a biker chick but I thought this looked cool.

Another one bites the dust...

It was a sunny September day. I went outside to enjoy the nice weather and was greeted by this... Poor Lambie... He's our latest casualty in a never-ending string of stuffed toy deaths.

Facebook Traitor...

I've been a bad blogger. Again! I've hardly updated my blogs these last two months cause I've been busy putting stuff on Facebook instead. Everyone told me this would happen. And I said No way, bloggie will be fine. But they were Right... and I was Wrong. Hate that. But I'm not going to let the bloggie die! :) I'll post something soon. Pinky swear.

August Showers...

August was a busy month for baby and bridal showers. I attended one every weekend for the last three weekends in a row! Needless to say there's a lot of exciting stuff happening in our friend's lives lately and I couldn't be happier for them!

I love these little guys...

They're both so sweet and they love their mama. They make every day a good day, a fun day, and a happy day. I'm so thankful they're in my life. :)

The Fountain...

These are going way back... To May. (God, time goes by fast!) It's the Seattle Center Fountain during Folklife. It was a hot day out and the fountain was backlit from the sun highlighting the spray. It was so mesmerizing watching the people dash in and out, trying to get wet while trying to avoid getting wet all at the same time. I could have sat there for hours with my camera glued to my face.

Day at the Zoo...

Earlier this month I spent a fun afternoon at Woodland Park Zoo (in Seattle) with some good friends. Everyone had a great time looking at all of the animals! Here's some pics of what we saw, keep scrolling down to see our cutie-patootie zoo-goers.
